The Radio: Encouraging students creativity and imagination, while stimulating the brain and creating structure.

  1. I chose the radio as well for music. We have very similar content areas; music and rhythms give dancers substance for what they do, but of course, it is not the only thing that drives them. Dancers can create a visual aid for those who do not form an image in their minds when they hear music. The radio certainly was a tool that not only gave teachers a boost in their lessons when teaching music, but gave dance instructors ground to teach to their students too in relationship to steps and rhythms. Your image shows that dancing was popular in the past; the dancers look calm and in a state of focus of the possible music they could be listening to in the image and enjoyment of what they are doing.
